Shop / goldilocks and the three bears book
One morning, Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Little Wee Bear decided to go for a stroll, hoping that by the time they returned home, their porridge would have cooled to the perfect temperature. Little did they know, a mischievous, curly-haired girl named Goldilocks was on her way, and things were about to get rather chaotic before the Bear family could enjoy their breakfast.
As the three bears embarked on their walk, they left their freshly prepared porridge to sit and cool on the table. Unbeknownst to them, Goldilocks, a curious and adventurous young girl, was wandering through the forest, searching for a new adventure.
Goldilocks soon stumbled upon the cozy bear cottage and, without hesitation, let herself in. She explored the small abode, investigating every nook and cranny. First, she came across three bowls of porridge sitting on the table. Intrigued, she tasted each one, finding the first to be too hot, the second too cold, but the third, belonging to Little Wee Bear, to be just right.
Satisfied with the porridge, Goldilocks then made her way to the living room, where she discovered three chairs. Again, she tested each one, finding the first too big, the second too big, but the third, Little Wee Bear's chair, to be just the right size. Settling into the comfortable chair, Goldilocks accidentally broke it, leaving the poor chair in pieces.
Continuing her exploration, Goldilocks climbed the stairs and stumbled upon three beds. Once more, she tried each one, finding the first too hard, the second too soft, but the third, belonging to Little Wee Bear, to be just perfect. Exhausted from her adventures, Goldilocks fell fast asleep in Little Wee Bear's bed.
Meanwhile, the three bears returned home, unaware of the intruder. As they entered the cottage, they immediately noticed that someone had been enjoying their porridge. Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Little Wee Bear grew increasingly concerned as they discovered the broken chair and the sleeping girl in Little Wee Bear's bed.
Goldilocks, startled by the bears' arrival, awoke with a start and promptly fled the cottage, running as fast as she could back into the safety of the forest. The three bears, relieved to have their home back, sat down to enjoy their now-cooled porridge, grateful for the return of peace and quiet.
